En philosophie, comme d'ailleurs dans tous les domaines, j'ai été comme une abeille qui produit du miel de toutes fleurs. Ainsi j'ai pris du pollen chez Kant, sans me plonger dans le kantisme, beaucoup plus chez Hegel, sans devenir hégelien. Cela signifie aussi que ma culture philosophique est lacunaire, sans être partielle, dans le sens où je n'ai jamais isolé mes conaissssances philosophiques, j'ai toujours cherché à les intégrer à une démarche intellectuelle et existentielle, globale, reliante, contradictoire. J'ai cherché, trouvé, chez mes philosophes, des stimulations toujours, des illuminations quelquefois.
